Korean Fermented Tea
Tea Notes
Crafted through a traditional Korean method of repeated roasting and cooling in a heated cauldron, this tea develops a gentle sweetness reminiscent of roasted sweet potato and a fresh green note similar to tomato leaves.
It opens bright and clean, then gradually settles into a warm, lingering finish like roasted grains softly carried on the breath.
The name Jakseol (“sparrow’s tongue”) refers to the young tea leaves, shaped like the delicate tongue of a sparrow at the moment of unfolding.

Made from softly frosted glass, this canister has a gently curved surface with a subtle, tactile texture that feels smooth in the hand. A lid wrapped in natural bamboo leaves brings warmth and an organic contrast to the glass.
Designed with tea in mind, yet not limited to it, the canister can hold small objects and everyday essentials, or simply remain as a quiet object within the home. Its understated form allows it to sit naturally on a tea table, kitchen shelf, or wherever it finds its place.
When used for tea, we recommend keeping the canister away from direct sunlight to best preserve the leaves.
A simple, versatile vessel made to be used, kept, and enjoyed over time.
Dimensions: Ø 2.5 x 3 in
A wheel-thrown bunchung tea cup finished in a warm umber glaze, distinguished by expressive white brushwork created using the traditional Korean gwiyal technique.
Formed on the potter’s wheel and finished individually by hand, each cup carries subtle variations in shape, tone, and surface. The sweeping gwiyal marks move freely across the vessel, leaving visible traces of the brush and the maker’s gesture. No two cups are exactly alike.
The earthy warmth of the glaze and spontaneous white markings embody the distinctive character of bunchung—an aesthetic in which irregularity and the hand of the maker are not concealed, but celebrated.
Its intimate size makes it a versatile vessel for tea as well as Korean spirits such as soju or cheongju, allowing it to move naturally between tea and the table.
Made to be used and held often, while carrying a quiet presence as an object in its own right.
Dimensions: Ø 3.0” × 1.9” H
A hand-shaped bunchung tea cup in a soft blue-green glaze, inspired by the gentle curves of a peach.
In Korean visual culture, the peach has long carried auspicious associations, particularly with longevity and wishes for a long, well-lived life. Peach forms also appeared in Korean ceramics as objects made to be used and kept close.
Here, the familiar symbol is interpreted with restraint—the rounded silhouette resting naturally in the hand, while the blue-green glaze brings depth and quiet variation to the surface.
Each cup is individually made by hand, with subtle differences in form and glaze that make every piece its own.
A small vessel carrying an old wish for a long and beautiful life.

Young Mugwort Tea
Tea Notes
Like the scent of a field after spring rain, the deep green of young mugwort unfolds quietly in the cup.
Only the youngest spring leaves are hand-harvested within a brief seasonal window, then carefully roasted to preserve their freshness.
Mugwort from Korean spring carries a fleeting seasonal aroma—softly nutty with a gentle chocolate-like sweetness.
Long valued in Korea as a warming herbal infusion, it has traditionally been enjoyed to gently support and comfort the body through the changing season.
