At the House of Migaam, tea is an invitation to slow down and be present. Rooted in Korea’s da-gwa (tea table) tradition, our gatherings unfold through a seasonal course of Korean teas and handcrafted delicacies, thoughtfully paired and served in vessels by Korean artists.
Each gathering offers an intimate encounter with the stories, ingredients, and craftsmanship behind Korean tea and confectionery. Guests are also invited to observe the making of seasonal byung-gwa, prepared by Emma and shared fresh at the table.

At the House of Migaam, our tea gatherings offer a quiet space to explore the depth and beauty of Korean tea. Each gathering is centered around a thoughtfully selected tea, inviting guests to discover its origin, cultivation, and the craftsmanship behind its making.

Guided by tea master Emma, guests learn about the tea’s history, character, and brewing techniques while exploring how its aroma, flavor, and texture unfold through each infusion. A small selection of seasonal Korean confections is thoughtfully paired with the tea, offering a gentle complement to the tasting.
Through conversation and shared tasting, we invite you to deepen your understanding of tea and develop a more personal connection to each cup.
