OBJECTS
Rooted in Korean craftsmanship, reimagined for modern living. A collection of thoughtfully made objects that celebrate the beauty of everyday rituals.
Artist Jeon sang geun produces white porcelain dishware and black porcelain dishes. All works are made by wheel throwing and plate molding and completed through delicate shaping. He has experience as a winner and participant of various contests and exhibitions. He produces porcelain that are inspired by what in Corea, which he reinterprets into something part of daily life, and designs his matte dishware to be light and practical.
The Pure White Porcelain Series uses Corean representative white porcelain clay and applies Corean-style objects and techniques. He is producing a work of art. The artist's white porcelain works are based on the shapes and materials of white porcelain from the Joseon Dynasty.
A wheel-thrown bunchung tea cup finished in a warm umber glaze, distinguished by expressive white brushwork created using the traditional Korean gwiyal technique.
Formed on the potter’s wheel and finished individually by hand, each cup carries subtle variations in shape, tone, and surface. The sweeping gwiyal marks move freely across the vessel, leaving visible traces of the brush and the maker’s gesture. No two cups are exactly alike.
The earthy warmth of the glaze and spontaneous white markings embody the distinctive character of bunchung—an aesthetic in which irregularity and the hand of the maker are not concealed, but celebrated.
Its intimate size makes it a versatile vessel for tea as well as Korean spirits such as soju or cheongju, allowing it to move naturally between tea and the table.
Made to be used and held often, while carrying a quiet presence as an object in its own right.
Dimensions: Ø 3.0” × 1.9” H
A hand-shaped bunchung tea cup in a soft blue-green glaze, inspired by the gentle curves of a peach.
In Korean visual culture, the peach has long carried auspicious associations, particularly with longevity and wishes for a long, well-lived life. Peach forms also appeared in Korean ceramics as objects made to be used and kept close.
Here, the familiar symbol is interpreted with restraint—the rounded silhouette resting naturally in the hand, while the blue-green glaze brings depth and quiet variation to the surface.
Each cup is individually made by hand, with subtle differences in form and glaze that make every piece its own.
A small vessel carrying an old wish for a long and beautiful life.

This Flower Ottchil Moon Jar is a unique piece, born from the collaborative artistry of two Korean artists. It is an exclusive creation available only through Migaam.
“We lacquer nature with reverence.”
This winger, we are honored to introduce a deeply meaningful series:
a limited-edition collection of Dalhangari (moon jars) by artist Jiyoon Yoo.
Jiyoon hand paints using natural ottchil—traditional Korean lacquer made from tree sap—infusing each piece with themes of healing and quiet restoration. Her work, like ours, believes in art as a gentle but powerful force to mend what life may chip or bruise.
Each moon jar is painted slowly, by hand, with wildflowers and grasses — no two are exactly alike. As in life, the smallest cracks can carry light; and even the most overlooked surfaces can hold warmth, when touched with care.
In Korean tradition, the moon jar is a symbol of abundance and blessing. We hope this piece might carry something meaningful to you: a soft reminder of your own resilience, and a gift of beauty for your space.
Crafted from PLA by Eunha Seo, a plant-based material derived from corn and sugarcane, each moon jar is made with the earth in mind. This gentle material quietly returns to nature—breaking down slowly over time through the work of microbes, moisture, and air.
A vessel shaped for beauty, made to leave no harm.
Dimensions:
A. 10" H | B. 9.2" H | C. 6.5" H | D. 3.7" H
A quiet composition of three objects—a small moon jar, a pouring vessel, and a lotus leaf—created by artist Eunha Seo.
Drawing from familiar Korean forms and nature, each piece is reinterpreted through a contemporary process using corn-based PLA and 3D printing. Finished in a soft, opaque white, the subtle texture of the printed surface gives each form a quiet yet tactile presence.
The objects are not made to speak loudly, but to settle gently into the spaces around them. Displayed together, the rounded moon jar, slender pouring vessel, and organic lotus leaf create a balanced composition of form, texture, and stillness.
The set can be arranged together or enjoyed individually, bringing a subtle sculptural presence to a shelf, table, or quiet corner of the home.
An object to live with—made to quietly stay beside you.
Dimensions:
Lotus Leaf — 1.7” H × 2.6” W × 3.2” L
Pouring Vessel — 2.1” H × 1.3” W × 1.3” L
Moon Jar — 1.6” H × 1.7” W × 1.7” L
Material: PLA (r-PLA), a corn-based bioplastic
A small table made for holding dishes, and for the quiet ritual of a meal taken close to the floor. The soban is a staple of traditional Korean floor-seating culture, and this piece carries that form into the present.
Drawing from familiar Korean forms and nature, each piece is reinterpreted through a contemporary process using corn-based PLA and 3D printing. Finished in a soft, opaque white, the subtle texture of the printed surface gives each form a quiet yet tactile presence.
Its slender legs, gently raised rim, and fine stretchers echo the proportions of the classic soban. The frosted, translucent surface catches light the way paper or ice does, so it sits softly beside wood, lacquer, and ceramic.
Place it on a shelf or altar-like nook, or use it as a small stand for a teacup, a candle, or a single object you want to give room.
A small lidded vessel, shaped by hand and held in the palm like a river stone.
Made from rough, toasted clay, each HAAP has a rounded lid marked by a single thumb-pressed hollow. The outer surface stays raw and grainy under a soft olive-gold glaze. Inside, the glaze turns glossy and amber, deep and still like syrup. No two are alike.
